Everyone and their mom loves Potts'!

Sauerkraut, mustard, pickles, onions, ketchup, chili. Such an amazing array of toppings are available at Pott's Doggie Shop in Bethlehem.

Walking into the mom-and-pop hot dog stop is so comforting and has stuck to it's original decor from decades ago. With no indoor seating except a wooden bench, Potts' constantly has a line out the door of people waiting to purchase personalized hot dogs and chocolate milk.

For $1.50 each, these hot dogs are by far the best I've ever had. The melt-in-your-mouth bun, the freshly grilled dog, and the perfect blend of toppings made the line worth waiting in.
Mixing it up a bit, I ordered one dog topped with "everything"- Potts' homemade chili, onions, mustard. And one dog topped with kraut, ketchup, and a pickle- my favorite!

Standing in line with a friend of mine, I observed such a mix of people standing waiting for dogs. Moravian and Lehigh students, local businessmen, and retired couples enjoying their weekly Potts' dogs.

Regardless of your choice of toppings, go to Potts' and enjoy a cheap dog. Take the experience to the fullest and order a chocolate milk, too!

  1. You finally blogged about the best "restaurant" in the valley. My favorite is a cheese bacon and pickle. But you can't go wrong with anything from Pottsies. Good work Aimee
